Angiogenesis

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer (especially a tumour based one) this topic may be well worth exploring – and acting on!

Because, as Dr. Li points out, cancer survival rates have increased since medications were developed that hamper the ability of tumours to attract blood vessels toward themselves – thereby cutting down on the food supply to the tumour while also decreasing the chances of metastasizing to other areas of the body.

So, it would seem to prudent to eat foods containing angiogenesis inhibiting compounds. Most of those foods are (thankfully!) readily available, affordable and tasty-!
